SFX At The Console

SFX At The Console

Once in a while, it's time to update the self image - lol!

The picture of me that's widely used everywhere was taken in 2007, that's over four years ago now, and I've got a lot greyer and a lot fatter since then. Ooh time passes when you're having fun! So I thought I'll have me a new self portrait today, SFX at the console ...

This is how I spend a lot of my valuable time, creating websites, writing articles, writing books, processing digital art, answering emails and so forth. And when I do that, surprise, surprise, I don't wear my robes of silk and ermin and I'm not covered in make up, either.

So this is SFX plugged in and SFX unplugged, in a manner of speaking.

Folk always try to give makeovers and dietary advice. Many just simply don't understand why I don't really care whether I'm fat or not, wrinkly or not, or what I'm wearing. As far as I am concerned, the less hassle the better, and as long as it's black, 100% cotton and doesn't bug me, that's alright by me.

The thing is that every day is an adventure, and I'm dressed for action. My clothes won't stop my body from assuming any position it wants, at any time. I can run my hands thru my hair anytime I want and neither catastrophe nor slimy hands ensue. I can cry if I want, rub my face, scratch my nose and all of that is perfectly alright, leaves no traces.

Not saying that it is wrong to dress up and wear make up, it just doesn't fit in with what I'm doing day to day, hour to hour, moment to moment.

I'm a WYSIWYG person and do many strange things.

But enough of the chit chat, I think this is a fair representation of SFX At The Console, July 2011.

Greetings to the aspects!
