I love the magic of the moment - right time, right place, brought the right camera, saw something, and took some lovely photographs.
The magic of wine ...
Bottles are magic ...
There is the message in a bottle, washed up on the shore; there are genies in bottles, there are magic potions and spell bottles ...
Where does art stop and magic begin? Or is it all one and the same ...?
Following The Real Man project, I thought the next step was to paint a man. Now, I was not altogether wrong with that idea; in fact, "to paint a man" is perfectly correct.
Only we're not painting a man like in an oil portrait. Oh no ... We are painting on the man. Of course ... obvious once you know ... and oh, so very primal.
An interesting fantasy photo shoot with an archetype - the Black Baron.
I could go on about this for hours but I shan't
Knock, knock ... who's there ...?
I acquired some roses and decided to photograph them. Then I made some handy Facebook blanks for many an occasion. So here are some red roses, white roses, pink roses and fantasy roses.
Ah, the magic of the rose ...
So, we've done the cave painting. We've done the handprints, the stick figures, the symbols.
The obvious answer has to be to portray a human being. I'm a female so my natural inclination is to want to paint men.
It is a fact that any time I move into that arty frame of mind, I get given gifts from the Universe. The other day I got the most fabulous surprise daily diamonds (now my desktop background). Today, just now, I got a truly amazing light show and some very cool photos - just like that ... :-)
Nature is always beautiful but every so often, it has a special surprise - or perhaps I'm just in the right frame of mind at that time ...
This is a collection of images taken this morning on the way to record "Crown of Lights" on May 4th 2012 featuring grass, weeds, and water droplets - daily diamonds, as the story goes ...
A collection of favourite photographs. Once in a while, interesting things happen when you do photography. I shall be adding to this as I go along.
Un-photoshopped images of beautiful things that seem abstract but are actually in existence, framed and shaped by light and colour - WonderWorlds photography by Silvia Hartmann.
"Life will find a way" - originally entitled "Brickworld," this visual metaphor has been a great source of comfort to me, an inspiration and an energy connection that is available anywhere one would like to look for it.
