Ah ... the mysterious mens! Are they art or are they magic? Are they tools or are they toys? Where did they come from and where will they go? These and many other questions ... :-)

Energy Art Sculptures
Ein Objekt aus der Zauberwelt - an object from the magical worlds of energy. Based on the Daily Diamonds, this is an object designed to remind us of energy.
First, there was the City of Gold. Now we have the City of Dreams!
I dreamed about the City of Gold, but in the dream, it was made out of pure information, lights, crystalline. Here is my rendition of the dream.
An energy magic machine by Silvia Hartmann that is also a beautiful sculpture, and a powerful tool for real energy magicians, but it is also a work of art.
Many hands and minds were at work to create this; it's absolutely unique in all times spent, there will never be another even remotely like it, but most of all, it is very beautiful
Here's the story of The City of Gold.
Amongst my people, it is the custom to give a symbolic snail when people move into a new home. It is a sign of good luck and a happy home, being safe and secure in your home. Traditionally, a hand made house warming snail is preferred; there are many ways to do this, including something as simple as painting a spiral (the symbol of the snail and vice versa) on a flower pot.
Here is my housewarming snail, hand shaped from aluminium and mounted on Baltic amber, given to Stephen Kent for his first home on October 4th, 2014.
Casting The Bones or CTB is a primal magic device to navigate reality. But how do you evolve that?
That was a challenge which caused me to cast many, many bones ...
Of all the various things I do casting objects in various types of polymer resin is probably what I enjoy the most. One day, I'll get a 3D printer - Father Christmas, are you listening?
Meantime, here are some Time Diamonds and a playful chandelier.
Whilst making 23 porcelain clay pyramids by hand the other day and as usual, failing to make them all look exactly the same, and indeed, succeeding in making 23 pyramids in the end that were completely individual and unique each, it occurred to me that in this day and age, perhaps a part of being an artist is just that - to make original pieces that don't look and feel as though a computer and a clever CAD program made them.
I'm not a machine ...
I really have to ask - is there anything as incredibly satisfying and wonderful as casting metal? Making an object that has never existed before, starting with the original sculpture, making a mould, then melting the cold hard metal so it becomes liquid and pouring it into the mould, then that final amazing moment when you free the metal object from the mould and you hold it in your hand for the first time?

The Mirrorman is one of my favourite things of all time. It is a small sculpture, the size of a teddy bear, and really quite wonderful in every way.
Based on a good honest vision and executed to the best of my (very limited!) practical abilities with 3D miniature mirror mosaics, the Mirrorman has been to many places and brought light to them all in a most delightful way.
