Breaking Down The Barriers In Art

One of the core features of Modern Energy Art is definitely "the breaking down of the old barriers." Normal people are shockingly disconnected from art - from doing art (you need to be brainwash ... ahem, you need to study first for god alone knows how long before you get to call yourself an artist), to owning original art (that's only for rich/crazy people) and so many others beside.

With The Mens, it is clear that "owning an original sculpture" has taken on a totally different meaning, as is the "interaction with the sculpture." Mens aren't just standing on a plinth for people to go "Ooh .. aaah ..."!!!

People take them out, give them a new context, pose them and take pictures of them, therefore creating their own pieces of art just as a bye the bye. For any sculpture, this is the greatest news ever! No wonder The Mens are so happy ... :-)

The cupcakes, as messengers of Modern Energy Art paintings, likewise have a direct use. They're not huge paintings. They fit into the smallest of apartments. They bring good energy. They sparkle and attract attention - use me, interact with me, benefit from me! I'm not just a piece of trendy interior decor!!!

Yes and then there's the breaking down of the barriers inside people. People look at a mens, or a cupcake and think, "I could do that!"

YES!!!! That's the whole idea! The biggest barrier of them all, to release the magical artist within and start making stuff again, rather than just buying it in, or even worse, buying in people who are said to have good taste and do the buying in for you!

I am super-passionate about "breaking down the barriers" in art, and I'm going to my very best to do as much breaking as I can - to increase the flow of energy, information, love and magic inside people, between people, and between people and the worlds!
